IS SHORE COTTAGE SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?
Absolutely. The cottage is family-friendly and provides plenty of space for both indoor and outdoor play. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, it's ideal for holidays with kids. Baby cot and high chair are available. Some books and games are there for the kids.
IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE COTTAGE?
Yes – there is free private parking directly at the cottage. Whether you’re arriving via the ferry or driving the Ring of Kerry, you’ll have easy and secure access to your car.
CAN I BRING MY DOG TO SHORE COTTAGE?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Shore Cottage. We ensure high standards of comfort and cleanliness for all our guests, especially for those with allergies. Thank you for your understanding.
ARE THERE SHOPS, CAFÉS OR RESTAURANTS NEARBY?
Yes – the village of Knightstown is just a short walk away. There you’ll find a hotel, a cozy café, a traditional pub and a small grocery shop. Perfect for a relaxed Irish breakfast / meal or a drink by the sea.
IS THERE A FIREPLACE AND HEATING IN THE COTTAGE?
Yes – Shore Cottage has full central heating and a bio-ethanol fireplace in the living area. It’s warm, cosy and also perfect for autumn and winter breaks.

WHERE CAN I EAT OUT? ARE THERE ANY GOOD RESTAURANTS?
There is a variety of good restaurants, cafés, and pubs in the area. For example in Knightstown, Chapeltown, Portmagee, Cahersiveen, and Reenard Point. There is something for every taste. The seafood restaurants are among the best in Kerry.
